People With Interesting Backgrounds (2)

This is the second picture from our role, "People with Interesting Backgrounds." I took this picture on my friend's lake, and I like the reflection of the sunlight in the water.

People With Interesting Backgrounds (1)

This is from my digital roll, "People With Interesting Backgrounds." I took this picture in Sweet Frog, a frozen yogurt place. My brother and Dad are both getting yogurt, and the pattern of the tiles leads your eye across the picture.

Elements of Art- Lines

In this picture, I used the lines created by the horizontal blinds as the focal point. By not only coloring the wooden cords, I also added a pink tint to the sunlight shining in. I like the contrast in colors as well in this photo.

Elements of Art- Shapes

This is my second picture in the Elements of Art roll. With the task of finding shapes, I used my fire place screen. Not only is used for its shapes, but also a frame for my little brother Lucas.

Elements of Art- Texture

This is one of my favorite pictures from our roll, Elements of Art. The subject was texture, and I thought the flowers next to my barn were perfect. Originally a black and white picture, I used the colored paint bucket on photoshop to add different shades of magenta to the flowers and dark barn windows.

Solarization

This is an old picture, coming from my roll of leading lines. However, we used another method of developing to create a solarization effect. One of the steps was keeping the print in the developer tank, but bringing it under the enlarger to create  flash of light for the solarization. I look forward to solarizing future prints as well.

Vintage

Adding on additional tasks after the normal developing process, we soaked out prints further in another substance. Creating a sepia tone, I printed a wooden, German smoker doll. With his feet hanging off the edge, the rustic look of the "Kaffee" maker it is holding adds to the picture.
