Solarization

This is an old picture, coming from my roll of leading lines. However, we used another method of developing to create a solarization effect. One of the steps was keeping the print in the developer tank, but bringing it under the enlarger to create  flash of light for the solarization. I look forward to solarizing future prints as well.

Vintage

Adding on additional tasks after the normal developing process, we soaked out prints further in another substance. Creating a sepia tone, I printed a wooden, German smoker doll. With his feet hanging off the edge, the rustic look of the "Kaffee" maker it is holding adds to the picture.

High Contrast

Given the task of pictures with high contrast, I was set out to look at the world in black and white. I had played around with different angles and colors, however I decided to use the element of light in this print. I shined a flashlight on one side of the reflexive, glass perfume bottles.
